I love the photo change. To go from present...Wow. I love the photo change. To go from present view to future hopeful view ... and couple it with winter to spring ... and then death and resurrection. Nicely done. Well played.<br /><br />I am also glad I am not the only person who believes Lent is more about spiritual discipline than physical (temporal) sacrifice.<br /><br />And, I had totally forgotten that today is Shrove Tuesday. It has never been a part of my religious tradition. And personally I've always resented the typical church tradition of doing a youth pancake supper fundraiser on Fat Tuesday (so I'm glad we don't do it here).<br /><br />In all, thanks for this post. It's made me do some thinking, which I treasure more than almost anything else. I'll be waiting to see how God blossoms within you as you journey through Lent and burst into Easter.
