And the paper's coming along nicely, thanks.  I'm in the fortunate position of enjoying what I'm reading, so it doesn't seem so bad!

I truly believe that a self motivated young person with a strong work ethic, some basic street smarts and intense focus on a goal, can accomplish more in 4 years than any bachelors degree would ever be worth. The cost of that degree has skyrocketed and the value (worth) has plummeted. We are putting way to many young people into 4 year colleges. Many aren't cut out for or interested in what they have to offer. They waste time and money trying to figure that out. They just go because that is what we expect them to do.
